Some plates disappear into a meal. This one changes how the table feels before anything is placed on it.
The Baekja Moon Plate is made in Icheon, South Korea — a city with over a thousand years of white porcelain tradition. High-fired at extreme temperatures, the clay becomes dense, non-porous, and enduring. At 27.3cm across, it occupies the exact space where a Korean ceramic plate moves between everyday use and considered presentation. The base is perfectly flat; the rim rises in a single, uninterrupted curve. The glaze is warm milky white — not stark, not cold — with a quiet luminosity that makes food look genuinely beautiful. Dishwasher and microwave safe. This is Korean Minimalism at its most refined: nothing added, nothing missing.
Pair with a small bowl from the same series, or let it stand alone. Handmade in South Korea — no two are exactly alike, and stock doesn't wait.
