The shape of a generous meal, held in a bowl that earns its place.
At 17cm, this bowl from Tovy's Blue Flower Garden (μ΄ν, Chohwa) series is sized for main courses β noodle dishes, soups, and shared servings that anchor the table. The Chohwa motif, drawn from Joseon-era ceramic tradition, brings depth to the surface without complexity. Artisan Korean ceramics at this scale carry a sense of occasion, even in the everyday. The glazing is rich but restrained β the kind of surface that improves with familiarity.
Fill it with ramyeon at midnight and the patterned bowl makes even that feel intentional, or bring it to the centre of a dinner party holding a main dish that invites everyone to lean in. Left on a kitchen bench as a fruit bowl, its size and pattern give it a permanent place without announcement.
Oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe β made to be used, not admired from a distance. Handcrafted in South Korea by Tovy.
