They catch light the way the original did — a soft celadon green, the colour of sea-mist at the edge of a Goryeo glaze.
Created by Mwecho (뫼초), a Korean jewellery artist who reinterprets national treasures at wearable scale, these earrings take the Celadon Incense Burner (청자 향로) from Korea's National Museum as their source material. Each pendant is framed in silver and brass, set with jade (옥) or freshwater pearl (담수진주) — carrying the same soft luminescence of Goryeo celadon (고려 청자), the same restraint of a tradition that understood beauty as precision rather than abundance. These are not reproductions; they are Mwecho's original interpretation of an enduring form.
Worn with a linen dress or a contemporary hanbok for a celebration, the celadon pendant finds its deepest context. Paired with a simple white shirt on a workday, it reads quietly bold and entirely composed. Gifted in the original packaging, it arrives as a meaningful piece of Korean artisan jewellery for someone who appreciates objects with provenance.
Designed and handcrafted by Mwecho, South Korea. For the person who wears their references lightly.
