A shelf doesn't have to do much. These two bottles do the rest.
The set comes as a pair — a maebyeong (plum vase) and jubyeong (wine bottle), each standing 12cm tall, hand-thrown and glazed in jade celadon in South Korea. Running around each bottle is the 줄학 motif: parallel lines of cranes, hand-incised before firing — one of the most enduring patterns in Korean ceramic history. The glaze traces its lineage to the Goryeo dynasty, the same tradition that placed Korean celadon at the peak of the medieval ceramic world. Decorative objects, purely — the kind that make a timber shelf or windowsill feel like it was always supposed to look this way.
A complete gift for someone who notices detail. Handmade in Icheon, South Korea — each set carries its own variation in glaze tone and carved line depth.
