Not the largest plate on the table. Often the most used.

The Baekja Moon Plate No.2 is made in Icheon, South Korea — high-fired white porcelain with a flat base and a low, continuous rim that keeps everything composed. At 19.8cm across, it sits in the ideal range for a Korean ceramic side plate: large enough for a full serve of banchan, compact enough to stack neatly in a small kitchen. The glaze is the same warm milky white as the larger plates in this series — not stark, not cold — with a quiet luminosity that makes even the simplest food look considered. The form is deliberately uncomplicated: no relief, no pattern, no applied decoration. This is Korean minimalism at its most practical. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Layer it into a full table setting with the larger Baekja Moon plates, or use it alone for banchan, a small dessert, or a shared portion between two people. It works equally well as a breakfast plate, a side dish vessel, and a surface for fruit or cheese at the end of a meal.

Handcrafted in South Korea. No two are exactly alike — subtle variation in glaze tone is part of what makes each piece individual.
