Notban Anseong Matchum Bangjja Yugi Square Spoon and Chopstick Rest

Notban's Square Chopstick Rest is cast from Bangjja Yugi (방짜유기) — the same hammered Korean brassware alloy used for their spoons and soju cups. Clean geometry, minimal surface, natural antibacterial properties: a small piece that holds its position without asking for attention. The Anseong Matchum tradition values the detail work as much as the centrepiece, and this rest reflects that — the same material quality as the Sujeo (수저) it supports, not a lesser companion piece. At 20 × 70 mm, it sits flush to the table and places the utensil exactly where it belongs.

Set alongside a Notban spoon and chopstick pair, the brass reads consistently from utensil to rest, completing the table composition.
