They were made to capture every human expression. Now they carry your everyday.
Tou (토우) — small clay figures from the Silla Dynasty — were crafted to express the full emotional range of human experience: joy, grief, curiosity, longing. This tote bag, developed in collaboration with the National Gyeongju Museum, reinterprets these ancient figurines alongside the Gilt-bronze Dangling Ornament from Hwangnam-dong — a royal accessory that once hung beneath a Silla crown. Korean Minimalism knows how to hold contradiction: the humble clay figure and the royal ornament, side by side on a bag made for ordinary days. Crafted in 100% cotton, it carries its cultural weight lightly.
Pair it with simple linen or neutral tones and let the graphic carry the composition on its own. Use it as a market or everyday bag and let the Silla references begin the conversation for you. Gifted with a small ceramic piece inside, it becomes a considered, culturally layered present — the kind that feels researched rather than chosen in haste.
Made in Korea in collaboration with the National Gyeongju Museum. For art lovers, museum enthusiasts, or anyone who wants to carry a piece of Korea's ancient storytelling into modern life.
