A slim Korean jewellery box in lavender-toned mother-of-pearl, its lid centred on a crimson medallion where twin cranes stand beneath a golden moon, framed by scrolling najeon vines.

Paired cranes are Korea's emblem of lifelong partnership. The full moon above them stands for completeness, and the unbroken vine border for fortune that continues without end. A wedding blessing, compressed into one lid.

The mirrored lid opens over an interior lined in luminous abalone.

22.6cm across, 6cm tall: made for shallow drawers and open display in equal measure. A wedding or anniversary piece, and the slimmest way to give najeon.

Handcrafted in South Korea. Each box varies subtly in shell iridescence — this is the character of najeon.
