At PEUM, we offer stainless steel products crafted through precise techniques that highlight the material’s strength and industrial elegance. Please read the following before purchase:

📌 Before You Buy

Stainless steel is naturally dark in color. Its silver appearance is achieved through a process called sandblasting (a polishing treatment).

Areas that may appear darker or black are simply untreated or less-treated spots — this is not a defect.

Brown discoloration, often seen where the body and handle are welded together, is a result of the joining process and not a flaw.

Marks that resemble scratches or streaks are natural from the sandblasting process.

Minor surface imperfections such as micro-scratches, scuffs, small dents, or spots may occur during packaging or shipping — these are typical of stainless steel and not grounds for exchange or return.

You may also notice black polishing residue on the surface. This is not harmful and can be removed through washing.

🧼 Cleaning Tip

Use dish soap and a soft sponge to clean thoroughly before first use. The black residue from polishing will come off easily with proper washing.
